Privacy Policy
StadiTA helps educators create course-specific AI assistants for students. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices available to users. By using StadiTA, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Information we collect
We collect only the information reasonably needed to operate and improve StadiTA, including:
- Account information such as name, email address, login details, and billing-related information for educators.
- Bot configuration data such as chatbot name, instructions, settings, and related metadata.
- Uploaded content such as documents, course materials, links, and other content educators provide to power a chatbot.
- Chat data such as messages submitted by students or educators and the assistant responses generated through the service.
- Usage and technical information such as logs, device and browser information, IP address, timestamps, and basic analytics about service usage and performance.
- Feedback and support information if you contact us or submit product feedback.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, maintain, and improve StadiTA;
- create, configure, and deliver chatbot functionality;
- retrieve relevant uploaded content and generate responses;
- monitor usage, performance, reliability, and security;
- prevent misuse, abuse, and violations of our terms;
- communicate with users about service-related matters; and
- process payments and manage billing.
- We do not sell personal information.
3. How information is shared
We share information only as needed to operate StadiTA, including with:
- Infrastructure and hosting providers that help us run the service;
- AI and model providers that process prompts and content to generate responses;
- Analytics, security, email, and payment providers that support the product; and
- Legal or compliance recipients where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the service.
- These providers may process account information, uploaded content, and chat content on our behalf solely for the purpose of providing services to us.
4. Educational content and student use
StadiTA is intended for educational use.
- Educators are responsible for the content they upload, the instructions they configure, and how they choose to share their chatbots.
- Educators should only upload materials and personal information they have the right to use and share.
- Educators should avoid uploading highly sensitive information unless they have independently determined that doing so is appropriate and lawful.
- Some chatbots may be accessible through a share link. Anyone with that link may be able to use the chatbot, so educators should publish and distribute links carefully.
5. Retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
- Educators may update or remove chatbot content through the product where those controls are available.
- We may also retain limited records, backups, or logs for legitimate operational, security, or legal reasons, even after content is deleted from active use.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
- No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children and school-managed use
StadiTA may be used in educational settings involving students.
- The educator or institution using StadiTA is responsible for determining whether the service is appropriate for their users and for obtaining any permissions, notices, or consents required under applicable law or school policy.
8. Your choices
Depending on how you use StadiTA, you may be able to:
- access and update certain account or bot information;
- delete chatbot content you have uploaded;
- stop using a published chatbot or remove access to it; and
- contact us regarding privacy-related questions or requests.
9. International processing
StadiTA and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own.
- By using the service, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in other jurisdictions, which may have different data protection laws.
10. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
- If we make a material change, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
- Continued use of StadiTA after an update means the updated Privacy Policy will apply.
